If you want to succeed in ever changing Real Estate World, you should get your own Real Estate Domain & Website. Many Real Estate Company offer new agents a Website within their company’s Website or through trackmy.com service. It means your Website address is pretty long.

My first Real Estate Website was embedded in my company’s Website. I have to navigate through my company’s Website to get to my own site. It was not even customizable. It was very basic web page. It contains my photo, my brief description, my resume and contact information. If my clients want to search property for sale, they must go back to main page and register first. If they forgot to choose me as main contact, the search results show no sign of me anywhere. In the beginning, I didn’t think seriously about Website but I realized it can be a great lead source.

After I’ve got my own Domain & Web site, my leads from my website increased steadily. I pulled in one my biggest commission check through my lead in website. I’ll add posts on how to get good leads through your Website.

Don’t settle for just one Domain name. Find Domain that contains your name, your city/neighborhood, and product/service you specialize in. You need a good photograph for your Business Card, Web Site, Blog and other marketing materials. You want to get the awesome face shot of the century, right? What is the secret of good head shot?

  1. Best time to take picture is right after you finished your lunch. Your stomach is full and your energy level is high. Never take picture in the morning. In the morning you look either pale or puffy. Late afternoon, you look tired and have no sign of energy.

Do you like chocolate? Here’s a great gift idea for someone or your own amusement. I’ve found about this custom printed M&M’s on last Valentine’s Day. One of the agent at my office received a bag of M&M’s from her boyfriend. They all looked like just regular M&M’s except all pink. If she looked closer, message reads “I Love U” and “Will U Marry Me?” Her boyfriend ordered customized M&M’s. First I was skeptical about those M&M’s but when I checked official M&M’s website… they’re real. It’s pretty cool stuff to check out. You try what they are look like before you order.
