Once you started as a Real Estate Agent, basically you just opened a small business without retail store. Your office doesn’t have sign outside saying, “John Doe’s Real Estate Business.” Maybe your company sign hanging outside the wall without any indication that you just started a brand new career. Business Card is your first step toward your Successful Real Estate Career.

Business Card is very important part of your Real Estate Career, if it’s not the most important. Most new agents don’t take serious about Business Card. Being and looking Professional is everything. If you handover a ink jet printed business card to someone, you are going to get bad first impression. Business card is your replacement when you’re not there. It can be passed on to someone you don’t even know.

If you have professional looking business card, it’s much easier to deal with other agents, too. Any seasoned agents can spot a brand new agent right away. They will try to take advantage of you anyway they can. You are more likely to get notices and gain business if your Business Card is extremely professional.

Go around the office and start collecting business cards from other seasoned agents. You’ll notice right away small things that stand out from other Business Cards. If you go to broker’s preview, you’ll notice that successful agents have very professional Business Cards. I’ll add another post about what to include in your Business Card.
