Well, like most of us, i decided that i need some fresh air, so the next week i move to Budapest for a couple of days.

As always, i’ve searched for interesting thing to do and for places to go.

Two issues that bother me more then others - weather and… restaurants )

The best way to find something really good is to read reviews. By reviews i mean honest reviews, not paid business directories crap, especially for travel/restaurants/shops.

I’d like to share two great resources that i found to relief my curiosity:

1. Weather - http://www.budapest.com/weather.htm

2. Restaurants - Budapest Restaurant Reviews

Very clean and extremely informative.

Now my goal is to visit two of them for sure:

Gundel - seems to be one of the famous restaurants in Europe. “We are the classics”, they say. Ok, lets try you out )

Gerbeaud - “…the city’s most famous coffee/pastry shop …famous for its home-made cakes and desserts”.

Sweet.
