Firefox 3 – Microsoft Internet Explorer Killer?
Mozilla Firefox 3 will be released in November of 2007 (estimated). The award winning web browser will be much faster, more secure, and fully customizable to your online life. Already powerful and popular web browser will add features that make your online experience even better. Still under development but highly anticipated release of Firefox 3 is making internet browsers and developers exciting.
Firefox will be greatly improved and introduce new features in following areas:
- Improved menus, image & video support.
- Full or partial page zoom functions.
- Improved download and save manager
- New password/log-in manager
- New site manager to customize users’ preferences for individual sites.
- Improved bookmarks and support for remote bookmarks.
- Support for off-line apps.
The most significant feature is support for off-line apps. Which means you’re able use web application like Gmail, Google Apps, and Calendars on the go. This will make huge impact against Microsoft IE and Microsoft Office products in the future. Now there’s rumor flying around in Wall Street regarding Google mobile phone development. Will Google and Firefox tap into mobile OS market, too? We’ll see.
Firefox 3 is coming !!! Watch out Microsoft !!!
