Do you want quality or quantity blog traffic?
I’ll take quality over quantity anytime. Don’t get me wrong, I love large volume of blog traffic. Who doesn’t like double or triple their blog traffic? It’s one of the joy of blogging. Blog traffic is the most important aspect of your blogging success.
There are so many blogs about how to make money blogging, monetize your blog, and SEO. You’ll definitely find blog traffic is the hottest topic. They all say do this and that to immediately increase your blog traffic. They don’t really talk about what kind of traffic you gonna get. If you have followed their get traffic quick advice, you will end up with large volume of low quality traffic.
What do you mean by low quality traffic?
Basically it’s “stop and go” kind of traffic. They come, look around and leave right away.
Stumbleupon traffic is good example of low quality traffic. If you analyze Stumbleupon traffic, first thing you’ll notice is a huge spike on your Google Analytics graph. It’s almost unbelievable.  Second thing you’ll notice is average time on site, less than 7 seconds. The third, bounce rate (percentage of single-page visits) is higher than 80%. They enter and exit.
Stumblers are looking for surprises. They just click on the “Stumble!” button and very anxious to move on to the next site. It seems like stumblers are trying to stumble or race through as many site as possible. Honestly, I’m one of “surprise me” type of the Stumbler. There it is, I confessed. I don’t even stick around if flash intro takes too slow to load.
What about quality traffic?
Quality traffic from sites from with similar type of blogs or targeted visitors from search engines. Readers that will be interested in your content, check more categories, and read related posts is the best traffic you want to get. These type of visitors will more likely contribute to your blog or become regular readers.
How to get more quality traffic?
Bringing wave of quality traffic is very challenging task. It’s not going to happen overnight. Don’t rush and don’t stop prospecting for new visitors. You must develop your own routing to drive traffic to your blog. If your blog traffic has been increased compared to previous month, you’re on a right track.
- Find the most popular posts:Â Write similar posts or write something totally opposite to that particular post.
- Optimize your blog and posts: Include keyword in your URL & title. Use secondary keywords in first paragraph.
- Trackback to other blogs in your posts: Readers will come to your site to find out what you have to say about the topic.
- Post good comments on other blogs:Â Write interesting comments on related topics.

I visited to the dentist a few weeks ago to have my braces on. I’m still having problems in chewing because of the wires. I also observed that I’m having a lot of wounds inside my mouth because of the wires and I find it very undesirable. When I was little I’ve always wanted to become a dentist. That’s the rationale why I went to college to study dentistry. I’m currently in my second year and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to pass in all the subjects so that I can graduate soon enough and be able to do my dream profession. We were fooling around at the pool yesterday when I accidentally slipped and hit my face on the ground . I thought nothing was wrong when I realizes I lost my front tooth. It was shortly that I realized that my lip was full of blood because of the missing tooth. We immediately went to the dentist to get it repaired.
I have a appointment with my dentist Monday to have my braces removed . I am so excited because I have been wearing my braces for 2 years now. I can no longer remember how I really appear without my braces. I’m thinking to have a hair cut after visiting the dentist to have a full make over of myself. I’ll be going to the dentist tomorrow to go together with my grandfather. He’s having problems with his false teeth because it never stops on coming off. whenever he eats or talks it would just suddenly come off and he finds it very embarrassing . We’re considering to have his false teeth repaired or maybe get him some new ones.
Jimmy and I were talking about bringing our kids to the dentist next week. Our kids have routine of eating chocolates and not brushing their teeth subsequently. This concluded to their cavities . I’m just worried that the kids and I will be having a lot of troubles tomorrow because they are afraid of going to the clinic.
I’m thinking to set an schedule with my dentist tomorrow for a check-up since I’ve been experiencing from tooth sensitivity lately. I find it very agonizing to consume a glass of cold water which is definitely unusual for me. I was amazed to see my co-worker with really white teeth yesterday. She whispered she visited to the dentist to have her teeth bleached. Because of her statements I’m thinking to visit my dentist next week to have dental bleaching as well.
