After I’ve decided that I’ll use WordPress platform for my blog, I just couldn’t find the right theme for my blog. My requirements were 3 column design, smaller header, not too colorful and light background. I’ve been searching through the WordPress theme directory and the internet to find the right match for my blog. I’ve downloaded, uploaded and tested almost 50 themes but I couldn’t settle down to one. After exhausting search, I finally found the one that I’ve been looking for. It’s called Mandigo by Tom.

Mandigo is a widget-ready two/three-column WordPress theme, available in seven color schemes. (blue, red, green, pink, purple, orange & teal) You can use random mode also. The theme can also be displayed in two widths. (800 or 1024px) Mandigo can accommodate users with a 800×600 screen resolution or choose to set the theme width to 1024 pixels. While the default layout shows only two columns, it is possible to turn a second sidebar On/Off from the Theme Options page, and the two sidebars can be aligned to either side of the screen, independently.

It’s probably the best and well designed WordPress theme I’ve ever seen. It’s highly customizable and no known bug so far. I’ve been able to use all my WordPress plugin and advertising solutions without any problem with this plug in. In his website, he shows off many well-known website that modified Mandigo.
